Newsletter

The directory pages can be read without an account. The newsletter form asks for an email address. We send a confirm link that works for 48 hours. The address is added to the newsletter only after you open that link.

Self-check

A software page can ask for an email when that vendor's published price or plans change. A CMMC page can ask for an email when the CMMC status on this site changes. Both send a confirm link that works for 48 hours. Nothing goes out until you open the link. Each note has an unsubscribe link. On a price watch, a checkbox that starts unchecked can also start the newsletter confirm.

The CMMC self-check can be finished on screen with no email. If you ask for the report by email, we send a confirm link first. After you open it, we email the report and store the answers, the score, and the address. A separate checkbox, off by default, adds the same address to the newsletter.

Listing requests

The firm listing form emails what you submit to the directory. It does not add you to the newsletter.

Quote requests

The quote form at /get-matched asks for a company name, a size band, the help you want, a timeline, an email address, and an optional phone number. A budget band is optional. Nothing is stored unless you check the box that names each firm or vendor you picked. We email you a confirmation and email the directory a copy. We email a firm only after that firm claims its listing and accepts the vendor terms.

Claims

A company can claim its listing with a work email at the same domain as the website on the listing. We email a confirm link that works for 48 hours. After you open it, we store the address and show a badge that says Claimed by the company. A correction form emails the directory. The listing stays as it is until we edit it.

Analytics

The site loads Vercel Analytics, which records page views. A first-party cookie remembers which campaign link brought a visitor (no personal data, 90 days) and is used only to count which channels work. We do not sell the list. We do not publish a postal address.
