Method

Method.

Every fact has a source link and a checked date. The source is the vendor's own page, or a page on sam.gov, sba.gov, acquisition.gov, or federalregister.gov.

Prices

A dollar figure is taken from the page that prints it. If that page does not print a dollar figure, the listing stays by quote. A GSA Schedule ceiling price and an AWS or Azure Marketplace list price can be shown with that source named. They are not the vendor's list price and they are not the starting price. A government site is shown at $0 only when its own page says there is no charge. If a site does not mention a fee, this directory does not call it free. Review sites are not a source for a price. A checked date older than 45 days fails the build.

Vendor sentences

When a vendor page uses a strong word about its own product, the sentence stays in a block labeled "Vendor states:" with the source link. The rest of the page does not repeat that word as our finding. A listing does not mean a company meets a rule.

Order

Lists are in name order. A situation page includes a tool when a written rule matches: a company size the vendor states, a contract type the vendor states, a government-tool category, or a line on the vendor page about companies new to contracting. Sponsored flags, affiliate links, and publisher ownership do not change the order. A seat count and the words "small business" are not a company-size band.

What this is not

Not legal advice. Not an audit finding. Not affiliated with any government agency. The CMMC page cites the rule text it uses.
